This J. Knit's lace-a-licious is extremely elastic and full of dreamy, soft texture. I can't wait until it's time to block it.
When I had brought it into the yarn shop before, the one of the owners said it looked almost double-knit. But I don't know what that is. I assume it has something to do with how plush each stitch is.
Here's the post that has the photo from before. By looking at the pictures, it looks like I've done about 15 more rows on it since September. Each row takes about an hour, so I think that this is decent progress. Once I get started on some Christmas creating, I'm sure it'll get put aside for awhile, though.

That's an Eva's shawl, yes? Looks gorgeous! I started a Carmen's shawl (same designer) on vacation last week. Must take a picture.
Mine's in Patons Silk Bamboo - SO soft, but not as lacy as yours. I love the effect. Must check out the yarn you've used!
Such a pretty color! I've been thinking about half-hexagonal shawls lately...this is similar in shape, I suppose.

Laux: This shawl is made with yarn that is thinner than many crocet threads! It's thicker than sewing thread, though. It's superfine. I'm using a 4.0mm/G hook which is a bit large for the yarn. If I were redoing it, I'd use an even large hook. So between little hook and little yarn, it's no wonder that it's taking forever. I'd love to whip this up in a worsted weight and larger hook.
